‘Journal of Research and Development’ is a Journal, published by The Centre of Research for Development, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, since 2001 and continuing onwards on a regular basis.

This Journal is ardent to promote science contemporaneous research in the fields of Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, Environmental Sciences and also all allied fields of science. It is dedicated towards dissemination of knowledge related to the advancement in scientific research. It is an print and electronic open access quick-refereeing peer reviewed, printing as well as online publishing journal which intends to publish scholarly and innovative full-length research papers, review articles short communication, opinion and case report covering subjects that be the wide spectrum of science. In addition to our goal of providing free on-line access to the Journal, we also feel strongly about the necessity of its having high quality. The quality of a journal is in an exceedingly approach reflective of the standard of its Editor, Editorial Board and its members.

Aims, scope and audience of the Journal

Journal of Research and Development aims for the publication of quality research articles to help the entire scientific society by spreading original piece of knowledge. This Journal targeted to provide Professors, Researchers and Students with up-to-date research in a wide range of areas and to aid the global exchange of ideas, review of research and expertise in the scientific community all over the world. The scope of the journal topics fall on all areas of biology including plant science, animal biology, biochemical biology, microbiology, cell biology, physiology, ecological studies, evolutionary biology, molecular biology, behavior and altrenative qualities of a specific organism. This Journal publishes varied article types viz original research articles, reviews, short communication, opinion and case reports. The audience includes, but is not limited to, Professors, Scientists, Researchers. The journal is addressed to researchers in the field of science, academia, students and other specialists interested in the results of scientific research and related subjects covered by the journal.
